New Test Rules for Weekend Scrimmage

 This weekend's fall ball scrimmage between Georgetown and UMBC on October 8th and Ohio State vs. North Carolina on October 9th will be played under a new set of "test" rules designed to increase scoring opportunities and speed up the level of play at the collegiate level. As with all college rules in the past it can be assumed that some version of the rules will filter down to the high school and youth level in the following years.
Experimental Rules include:

Colorado College Announces Sean Woods as Head Coach of Men\'s team.

 Colorado College announced that Sean Woods will take over as the new head coach of the CC Tigers Men's lacrosse team. He comes to CC after being the head coach at Mars Hill for the last 5 years where he posted a 51-24 record. After his first year at Mars Hill Coach Woods went on to win no less than 10 games each season and a number of Division II conference titles with the Lions.
